Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Although I booked the Poddy, the owners kindly upgraded me to the Nook, which is on the same site. The Nook proved to be excellent for my purpose, which was to write. The outside temperature dropped to freezing towards the end of my stay, but the Nook remained warm and cosy. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the owners kindly provided a bottle of wine.

Negative: The only very minor drawback is that the hamlet of Bushton has no pub within walking distance.

Summary: The Nook perfectly met my need for a quiet and cosy writing retreat.
