Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The property is a lovely old building and the bar area was fab with a lovely open fire. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable with plenty of room and an amazing shower. Dinner and breakfast were lovely with plenty of choice.

Negative: There wasn't anything I didn't like about the property. The only small detail to mention is that the room we were in didn't have a plug socket near the kettle or the mirror so I had to move the kettle to the floor to boil it and I couldn't see when I was drying my hair. As I say, very minor details and certainly did not spoil our stay.

Summary: A fab night away in a lovely setting with a great room, great food and a wonderful host.
