Summary: There was some confusion on our part as to what was mentioned on Arbitel and the actual accommodation. We were expecting to have our own area which was private within the main house, so we could use facilities like kitchen washing machine etc .Unfortunate this was not the case. We didn’t speak French and the owner English so it was difficult to communicate. The owner is a pleasant mature Lady who lives permanently on site. The accommodation consists of 2 bedrooms in an upstairs attic area, one of which has a private bathroom .So in essence this is a B&B in which the owner lives. This would be ideal for a family with children .There is no TV in either room of a cooling fan .It was particularly warm one night so sleep was disturbed. We were also plagued by mosquitoes in the room; I was bitten 8 times again this again disturbed our sleep. Parking and the surrounding area is very pleasant safe and quiet. This would be ideal for children as there are 2 horses, a dog and a cat .The cat would sleep with the Dog .Breakfast was continental and didn’t suit us well. Having some Ham or cheese would have been a bonus. We had booked seven nights but due to family illness returned home early. The owner was good enough to refund us for the two nights that we did not stay.
