Soon afterwards you cross the town of Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne. Thanks to its idyllic, climatically favourable location in the valley, between woods and meadows on the banks of the river, the place bears this name - which rightly means "beautiful place". Eight minutes to your destination. Cross the river Dordogne on a bridge decorated with flowers, pass the Intermarché supermarket and turn left shortly afterwards. Now you drive uphill through a shady, light forest.
The destination is an old farmhouse dating back to 1650, located in the southern department of Corrèze, directly on the border with the department of Lot. Le Papillon Bleu. It is a rustic stone house, belonging to a small village (Guilles) with four other houses. Decelerated you park next to a small amphitheatre, to the right an old stone fountain - like in a fairy tale. Wild tendrils adorn the entrance of Papillon Bleu, a large wooden door in friendly blue invites you to enter. A rustic combined live-in kitchen/living room with a large wooden table, fireplace and high ceiling is the welcome welcome...
You have arrived. In Papillon Bleu, the perfect place for idleness. Arrived in a relaxed atmosphere far away from any street noise and far away from a fast-paced world.

The property is about 2000 sqm large and offers apples, figs, peaches and walnuts in its wild garden.
The entire house has been lovingly renovated so that it combines rustic flair with the advantages of modernity. High-quality solid wood furniture also underscores the house's very special charm.
The house consists of three bedrooms, two beds with 180x200cm mattresses and a bed with a 140x200cm mattress. As mattresses we use orthopaedic cold foam mattresses with Eco-Tex certificate. The bedding is also made entirely of Eco-Tex cotton. Sleep like gods under the canopy.
The kitchen is equipped with a 6-burner gas cooker with integrated electric oven and includes everything you need to prepare a fine French meal. There is also a large refrigerator with freezer compartment.
On cold days, two fireplaces (in the dining room and living room) create cosy warmth. In addition, there are electric heaters and gas radiators. Two comfortable sofas offer genuine cosiness in the living room. A small stereo is also available.
The ideal place to stay in summer is the beautiful wooden terrace (approx. 30 sqm) which can be reached from the dining room. A large daybed (200x100cm) invites you to relax and let your soul dangle in order to look into the distance during the day and even into the stars at night.
Altogether a wonderful place for lovers of nature and rusticity. A place to completely shut down and find yourself. Nestled in beautiful nature and in an area that offers a variety of attractions and activities.
