These captivating stone structures built over the 13th to 15th centuries make up what was once a Medieval hamlet and still exist today as ‘Manoir du Mur’ and its adjacent out-buildings. This historic site has been lovingly renovated in keeping with its architectural and historical integrity, while at the same time offering 21st century amenities. Manoir du Mur includes 4 fully furnished ‘themed’ self-catering apartments, a medieval Dining Room/Hunter's Lodge, an 'Assembly Room' with stage, cinema, and fully equipped kitchen for catering, an ancient outdoor bread oven, and an artist studio and a 'Knight's Room" . Each apartment is furnished with linens, towels and fully equipped kitchens, and have been newly decorated to reflect a mythical personage who may have one time lived there. ‘The Gardener’, ‘The Archeologist’, ‘The Story Teller’ or ‘The Breton’, the choice is yours! a 181 acre estate that at one time served as a Roman Military Camp. The Manoir has laundry facilities, a Medieval Dining Room/Hunters Lodge/Game room where the internet is accessible. Additionally you will have access to the private forest, many trails, two lovely orchards, and 181 acres of rolling hills and meadows.
