As it is in old castle, the house has a large and confortable living room as well as a large kitchen and dining room. The kitchen and dining room have just been renewed with a wooden floor and modern equipment. There is also a veranda, with a fantastic view on Mont Canigou, as well as a terrace outside.There are 4 bedrooms, of which two rooms with a double bed each, and two rooms with 2 beds each. You have your own private parking.
It is a very quiet and charming place, which makes you travel in time and space.

Summary: high up in the mountains, the castle and its views were as stunning as previous renters and the photos had promised. Seeing the highest mountain of the area, Pic Canigou, right from your window and enjoying the most pristine silence was pure pleasure. Leaving all earthly worries behind in the valley was not only possible; it was impossible not to do so. However, this delight was a bit marred by the general first impression that the property made on us. Not only were the windows not clean, but the entire place seemed a bit like nobody really took care of it. There were cobwebs in places, mouse droppings all over the place; when we opened the coffeemaker, mold was growing in the filter that previous renters had left. The towels and linens we rented were damp and smelled a bit musty. We did clean up the place after our one-week stay—and we assume it was cleaner than what we found when we arrived.
