Set in the Staffordshire Moorlands, the cottages stand high overlooking the picturesque wooded Churnet Valley affectionately known as ‘Staffordshire’s Little Switzerland’ with its canal wharf, meandering river and nostalgic steam railway within half a mile. Alton towers is just 6 miles away and offers rides for the thrill-seekers and CBeebies Land for little ones. Head across the border into the Peak District and visit the beautiful Dovedale and its famous stepping stones. Within easy reach of Stoke, Derby and Stafford, you can enjoy busy days out before returning to relax in this scenic retreat.
The hallway has space for storing muddy coats and shoes, while the light and bright kitchen/diner is just the place for rustling up a warming meal. There is an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with an ice compartment and even a dishwasher in here to make cleaning up easy. Sit at the dining table to catch up before returning to the lovely lounge for the evening. Curl up on the sofa with a good book or pop something on the TV and chill. Heading up the stairs, the double bedroom offers a TV, its own en-suite shower and WC, and the twin bedroom also has a TV, and an en-suite shower and WC.
Outside there is seating and a patio where you can sit and share a drink. There are also shared gardens on-site, a short walk, with an enclosed dog exercise paddock. Coming in winter 2021 you can enjoy a shared play barn and an outdoor seating area with a firepit and BBQ. There is off-road parking for two cars.
