There is a footpath directly opposite the farm entrance which leads right up to the top of the hills and across the surrounding countryside which has changed very little from the days when it inspired the romantic poets Coleridge and Wordsworth. Just a few minutes walk will take you into the heart of the village, where you will find the village church, shop with Post Office and also the excellent pub, The Carew Arms. The cottages are tastefully decorated throughout. Each has a separate garden and guests also have access to the owners large gardens and paddocks. We have tame miniature ponies and sheep grazing in our paddocks.
