This attractive, light and airy, 3-bedroom apartment, nestles on the hillside above Brixham's pretty inner Harbour.
There are steps to the property - this is Brixham after all, but visitors to Sundeck are rewarded with views across Torbay, and that most welcome of elements in a holiday property – a little outside space in which to relax, unwind with one's tipple of choice, and to take in the views
Sundeck is situated on the sunnier, west facing side of the harbour and has windows to three aspects. Its spacious, light interior comprises a large, open plan, sitting room with dining area, well-equipped, galley kitchen and – on the ‘ground floor level' there are two double, ensuite bedrooms – one with a shower, W.C and washbasin and the other with W.C. and washbasin.
On the lower level, there is the ‘master bedroom' with adjacent family bathroom. Outside there is a terrace which enjoys sunlight all day and into the evening. A great space for alfresco dining.
Sundeck provides accommodation that is simple, stylish, and modern throughout. There are deep, comfy sofas and nice personal touches including original artworks, soft furnishings and mood lighting designed to - hopefully - make for a relaxing stay.
A little further up Bay View steps, Sundeck visitors can also enjoy ‘Deck 7' a larger, elevated, garden area with seating and more great views down into Brixham Harbour, across Torbay, and even as far as Dorset - on a clear day. Local amenities, including Brixham's many new restaurants and bars, are a short walk away – close, but not too close! The pretty harbourside, shops and wonderful beach are all within easy reach. An ideal opportunity then, to leave the car – in the space provided – to set out on foot and to explore the lovely town, the surrounding area, and all that it has to offer.

August 2022Absolutely loved our stay at Sun Deck. Positioned so conveniently just a short walk into the harbour yet very quiet in the evenings. The cottage was very tastefully designed, comfortable and clean. Although the car parking space is a short walk up hill it's so worth it as parking in Brixham is very difficult and on street parking ( where available ) is limited ans precarious. The sun deck car parking space is roomy and safe. There was three of us in the cottage myself and my 19 year old daughter coped easily with the steep steps. My 76 year old mother struggled a bit however there is a handrail and although it was difficult for her she thought it worth it for such lovely accommodation. We would definitely book Sun Deck again.Sarah

May 2023Apart from the very steep steps to the front door, everything was great. We couldn't find the welcome book but it didnt matter in the end. Everything was clean and tidy and once out on the street, everything is in easy walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
