Positive: We got the warmest welcome ever, these are hosts who welcome you with open arms. We knew we were likely to be arriving late, and running ahead of a thunder storm on a motorbike and they offered to feed us for a small stipend. As it was, when I requested, they have us details of a local shop that was open late and we got a picnic. On arrival we were helped with our luggage and asked to join them for a beer. After, we went upstairs to our 'suite' and had our picnic with plates and cutlery they provided, and they put our beer in the fridge in their kitchen and told us to come and go as we pleased. We slept well in the very comfortable bed, made use of the tea/ coffee making facilities, used the excellent shower. Everything we needed was there. In the morning we had toasted bread and a variety of home made jams. I wish our spoken french had been better than our rubbish absolute basic, We'd have loved to have a proper chat with our hosts. Breakfast was simple, but absolutely enough. We liked trying the different jams

Negative: The drive is a compacted dirt track, and quite rough. If you're on a motorbike in the wet, in can be a little dicey. For all the warm welcome, this accomodation is rustic, there's steps to the house, quite steep narrow stairs to the suite, and some of the floors & thresholds are a bit uneven, including the one into the seperate loo. If you struggle with mobility, this one isn't for you. Breakfast was very simple and homely
