Positive: The Manoir is a magnificent building in fine grounds. Accommodation is in single storey buildings with adequate rooms with stunning views. We were there a day or so before the kitchen closed for winter and it showed; no croissants for breakfast and disappointing dinners. There was surprise when we asked for a pre-dinner g and t but maybe they were getting tired after a busy summer!

Negative: The lack of a decent breakfast with no reduction in price.

Summary: A wonderful old building with much history .
