Positive: A lovely stay at this property. A nice owner Veronica who was helpful. The owner has invested in this period building and it has nice windows and doors. The property is located in a rural setting.

Negative: Guests are asked to provide 500 euros in cash as a deposit. If you are like us, from the UK where it is not the national currency this means changing up a lot of money which you cannot spend during your stay. This is more than we have been asked before as a deposit but just good to know you need this amount. This means also that you need to see the owner before you leave the property to get your deposit back after she makes a personal inspection of the property. Make sure you factor this in should you be catching a ferry. Make sure you are aware where the property is located as it can be tricky to find so you need a working phone with sat nav. At the time of our stay, last month, there was no indication of the number on the actual house so you are not 100% certain you have the right place but we compared the online picture which is similar. The owner had gates fitted at the end of our stay so it may now be labelled? Be also aware that there is a cleaning fee added to the price of £121 [ I believe this does not cover the kitchen so guests have to ensure that is clean] and there is a city tax of £34 which the owner has not control over.
