This beautiful villa is quietly, yet centrally located in the centre of Poldou. The villa has no immediate neighbours, so you can enjoy absolute privacy. It is about 200 meters from a beautiful sandy beach.
The 100 m² villa was just recently renovated in 2015 and accommodates up to six people. All rooms have been tastefully furnished. There are a living room, furnished with a sofa, armchairs, a television and a DVD player, access to the south facing patio, three bedrooms (two furnished with a 140 cm double bed, one furnished with two 90 cm single beds and an extra bed), a bathroom with a double sink, a shower, a towel drying rack, a separate toilet, a newly furnished kitchen with an oven, a ceran stove, an exhaust hood, a microwave, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster (all appliances were replaced in 2015). There is also a utility room with a washing machine and a dryer. Wireless internet access and heating are also available.
The villa is surrounded by a beautiful garden, surrounded by hedges; the living room opens up to the south facing patio, furnished with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Parking for two cars is available on the property.
Upon request, a high chair and a child's cot can be provided.
This beautiful villa is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday by the sea; it is only 200 meters to the sandy beach, protected from the wind and guarded by a life guard. It is also the base for beautiful coastal hiking trails with views of the ocean and the island Groix. It is 400 meters to another sandy beach, which is ideal for surfing and body boarding as it is quite windy there. It is also 400 meters to a yacht club where you can take sailing lessons, rent surf boards and sail boats and kayaks. It is 800 meters to Lower Poldou Harbour, where you can enjoy fresh seafood. The town centre is about 100 meters from the villa and houses cafes, restaurants and supermarkets; the Maison Marie Henry, where Gaugin lived for two years, is also worth a visit. Le Poldou is a resort in the southern Finistère, on the edge of the Morbihan, a resort frequented by Gauguin and the hometown of the painters of the Pont Aven School. The coastal landscape is world renowned. It is less than 30 km from Doëlan (5km), across from the Ile de Croix (ships leave from Doëlan), Pont Aven (well known for its painters and gateau), Concarneau (ships to the Glénan-Islands depart from here).
