Summary: The location of this hotel is fantastic - it was the perfect base for exploring, and there were loads of great bars and restaurants right outside. Our room was small, but clean and had all the amenities we could have wanted. We actually had a tiny view of the Eiffel Tower out our bathroom window. I think it has been newly renovated because you could smell the paint. Walls were pretty thin - definitely heard some other guests enjoying themselves when we would have preferred not to (🍆). Sounded like they were having a great time though. My only real negative about our experience is that they sneak an extra “management fee” on with the city tax so we ended up paying about €80 at check in which we weren’t expecting. Felt sneaky and it’s not super clearly disclosed (although on inspection it is listed at the bottom of the property details on the listing but it wasn’t in any of our confirmation paperwork, receipts or invoices). So watch out for that.
