The next town is Plouay which is famous for hosting a number of professional cycling events, notably the GP Ouest-France, UCI Road World Championships and even stages of the Tour de France. Within easy reach is the Blavet River which flows from the Côtes-D'Armor through to Lorient and is the ideal location for fishing, canoeing, cycling, bird watching, and rambling. The Atlantic coast beaches are only 30 minutes away by car. Enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches around Lorient and Quiberon as well as the numerous picturesque islands situated only a short boat-ride away.
