The cottage has everything you need in a traditional Breton-decorated house. The cottage is set among forests, places to walk and ride bikes and surrounded by lovely villages.
"Les Roses" is a gem in central Brittany, half an hour from the rugged northern coast with amazing restaurants and sights and an hour from monolith-laden Carnac, and close to Pont Aven, an inspiration to many Impressionist artists.
From spectacular beaches with rugged coastlines to vast sandy expanses, to peaceful woods and forests and the famous Nantes-Brest Canal, Brittany has all the makings of a perfect holiday.
The cuisine in the area includes crepes and galettes and of course the seafood! Mussels and oysters are available throughout the region, particularly in the summer months. Cider is produced here and local varieties are available in all supermarkets and restaurants.
During the summer numerous villages and town celebrate the "Pardon" which is predominantly a religious thanksgiving but is always followed by a celebratory meal (with a drink or two!) and Breton dancing. Other events include:

In Carhaix you will find Karaez Adrenaline which is great fun for adults and children including zip line courses.
In the third week of July – Les Vieilles Charrues, the biggest music festival in France (this year features the Red Hot Chili Peppers).
The accommodation downstairs consists of a well equipped, including washing machine, coffee machine open-plan kitchen/dining area with enough seating for six people and lounge with comfortable seating, wood-burning fireplace, a smart TV with Netflix, Disney, etc and games. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, two with double beds and one with a single bed. There are two bathrooms with shower and WC. Linen and towels are provided.
A 60€ cleaning fee is applied.
The garden is large with a dedicated area for guests including BBQ and comfortable outside seating for those warm evenings for outside dining.
Dogs and children must be supervised.
