Near a typically French village (600metres) with shop/bar our Gite is on 3 x floors set on gently sloping ground.There are original oak beams and features from the building's previous use as a watermill and later a Cider Mill. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms (1 x double and 1 x family room with 1 x double and 2 x single beds).On the spacious landing is a put you up bed to accommodate an extra guest.On this floor there is a bathroom with w.c. vanity unit washbasin and bath. Ground floor from the entrance is an open plan (over 50 sq mtr) lounge,dining area and kitchen. Heating if needed is by log burning fire and electric radiators and the kitchen has dishwasher, fridgefreezer,washing machine,oven,hob, electric kettle, toaster,coffee maker,microwave and all the pots,pans and utensils you may need.In the lounge area there is satellite TV with all UK free to air channels. Also on this floor there is a shower room with w.c. vanity unit washbasin and multi function shower. Downstairs we have 'the Cave' cellar bar and games room with pub size pool table,table tennis and bar area with fridge (to chill the drinks).Through French doors there is access to the south facing outside patio with BBQ,table,chairs and sun loungers.There is over an acre of grounds bounded by the stream La Querche for exploring and outdoor games (bats,balls,boules provided). Within easy reach are all the attractions of Normandy. Mont St Michel,Bayeaux,D-Day landing beaches and battle sites,water and fun parks,etc.
