In the heart of the bay of Quiberon, near Carnac and the Gulf of Morbihan (classified among the most beautiful bays in the world), Plouharnel offers an ideal holiday setting for both ocean lovers, with its sandy beaches end, only for surfing enthusiasts thanks to sliding spots such as Sainte Barbe, but also prehistoric enthusiasts due to the presence of thousands of megaliths, not to mention hikers (GR34). Plouharnel is located between Lorient, "the city of 3 ports" famous for its Interceltic Festival, and Vannes, a thousand-year-old city nestled at the bottom of the Gulf of Morbihan. From Quiberon, you will take the boat to spend a day on the aptly named Belle-Ile or on Houat or Hoedic.
