The Eden Valley is a peaceful and incredibly scenic area, offering impressive views across the Cumbria countryside. This location is ideal for touring the Lake District or the Yorkshire Dales, being 18 miles from Garsdale Head in Yorkshire dales, and 21 miles from Haweswater and 30 miles to Windermere in the Lake District.
Great Asby is a quiet hamlet approximately 1.5-mile walking distance from Breaks Hall Bungalow and has The Three Greyhounds Public House. This holiday home is close to Kirkby Stephen, Appleby-in-Westmorland and Sedbergh in the Howgill Fells. The ancient, market town of Appleby is just a 5 miles drive away with various grocery shops, pubs, take away restaurants, children’s parks and a swimming pool. The most impressive feature of the local landscape is ancient Appleby Castle, which sits overlooking the River Eden.
